General Summary:
Coordinate all purchasing related activities between KMMG and Automobile Parts suppliers. Meet with suppliers on a regular basis to determine and optimize progress and discuss future activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to accountabilities below):
• Select, develop and manage supply base for production parts, components and systems by: • Preparing RFQs for multi-year full production quantities, • Negotiating long term agreements • Maintaining competitive pricing • Leading yearly cost reduction activities • Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance • Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective action, where appropriate. • Develop annual specific expectations for suppliers based on company goals and objectives • Explore available technology and implement best practices related to purchasing activities • Evaluate engineering and quality in part designs for suppliers to obtain optimum efficiencies • Plan, organize, track and disseminate information related to production suppliers • Maintain up to date supply base information database • Take charge of VAATZ database interaction

QUALIFICATIONS and JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Competencies):
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline and zero (0) to three (3) years of progressively responsible supply chain experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • OEM or parts components supplier experience preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills a must.
