[Eyedea] I got a little story to tell 하고 싶은 얘기가 있어 See it was September 1st, 1999, the day of my death 우선 그날은 1999년 9월 1일, 내가 죽은 날이었지 My back was on the cold concrete as I take my last breath 내 몸은 차가운 콘크리트 바닥에 누워 마지막 숨결을 내뱉었고 Saw my body laying on the ground as my soul hovered above me 영혼은 위로 떠오르고, 땅에 누워있는 내가 보여 Damn Eyedea you was a good lookin' cat 이야 Eyedea, 너 꽤 잘 생겼었구나 But anyway another day at 18 years of age 하지만 어쨌든 18년 간의 세월 끝에 Step in heaven's gate anxious to see what God got to say 천국 문을 열고 들어가 하느님이 뭐라 하실지 빨리 알고 싶어 Maybe he'll give me a gift for always saying my prayers 어쩌면 매번 기도를 한 것에 대해 선물을 주실지도 모르지만 But he might send me downstairs for last year's love affair 작년 바람 피운 것 때문에 아래쪽으로 보낼지도 모르지 Well who cares 뭐 무슨 상관이야 You know right now it's all a mystery 일단 지금은 모든게 미스터리지 I mean I'll find out when I get there 아니, 어차피 거기 도착하면 알게 되잖아 Until then I can't let it get to me 그때까진 이런데 시간 낭비하면 안 되지 I'm keepin' my cool 침착하게 있어야겠어 Besides everybody dies 게다가, 누구나 죽는 거잖아 I'll just follow the white light like they do in the movies 그냥 영화에서 그러듯이 하얀 빛을 따라가야지 It seems like I was went by and I'm still travelin 그렇게 한동안 갔는데도 아직도 움직이고 있었어 Right towards the brightness 밝은 빛을 향해서 말이야 Now this ain't heaven or hell 여긴 천국도 지옥도 아니야 This realm is lifeless 이곳은 생명이 없어 And I hate to say it 이런 말하긴 싫지만 But this wild goose chase had me bored 이렇게 쫓기만 하는 건 지루해 No directions, no clues, no idea what I was in for 화살표도, 단서도, 여기에 있을 이유도 없는데 But forward I kept floating 하지만 어쨌든 앞으로 계속 움직여 And then a quick flash the lights split directly in half 그때 섬광이 번쩍하더니 빛이 정확히 절반으로 나뉘고는 And created a forked path 갈림길을 만들었지 Representing each side is an angel 양편 다 천사가 서있어 Now whats the task I have to untangle to meet the big man in charge I ask 그래 여기서 뭘 해야 저위의 높은 분을 만날 수 있지? 난 물었지 And one on the right of me says one of us always lies and one that always tells the truth 오른쪽에 있는 천사가 말하길, 우리 중 한 명은 항상 거짓말하고 한 명은 항상 진실을 말한다고 Ask the right one the right question he'll direct you to heaven 제대로 선택해서 질문하면 천국으로 데려다줄거라고 If ask the wrong one son, farwell you going straight to well.... 잘못 선택하면, 안녕히, 네가 갈 곳은 다름 아닌... Y'all get the picture 뭐 안 말해도 알겠지 The one on my left told me not to listen to his fibs 내 왼쪽에 있는 천사가 그녀석 말 듣지 말라더군 He said it ain't that complicated to find out where god lives 신이 사는 곳에 가는 게 그리 복잡할리 있냐며 He told me to follow his path 그냥 자기가 서있는 길을 따라가서 and tell god that he said hi 하느님에게 안부나 전해달라고 Then the one on my right jumped in and told me not to believe his lies 그러자 오른쪽에 있는 녀석이 앞에 뛰어들어 거짓말이니 믿지 말라고 했어 and I'm like Jesus Fucking Christ 난 말해 이런 빌어먹을 I didn't care much for life 생명에 대한 집착은 별로 없었지만 But I've tried to stay alive forever if I knew this is what death was like 이런게 죽음인 줄 알았다면 영원히 살아남으려고 노력했을걸 I was never good at problem solving especially in emergencies 난 문제 풀이에 재능이 없었지, 특히나 긴급 상황에서는 I get a tad bit nervous when concerned with burning for eternity 영원히 몸이 불에 탈 걸 생각하면 쬐끔 긴장이 되거든 but anyway I asked them which one lied and they pointed at each other 어쨌든 각자에게 누가 거짓말쟁이냐고 물으니 서로를 가리켰어 Thinking I'd had it I asked the name of my mother 아이디어가 떠올라 내 엄마의 이름을 물었지 One said he don't know the other said he know but he can't tell me 한 명은 잘 모른다고 하고, 다른 한 명은 알긴 하는데 말할 수 없다고 God damn this is going to be hard 젠장, 이거 꽤 어렵겠는걸 So I asked 30 questions and I still wasn't sure 그렇게 질문을 한 30개 정도 했지만 확신이 안 서 but being me I gave those pricks a few good words 하지만 난 나답게 그 새끼들에게 욕을 질러주고 Frustrated with it all 그저 짜증만 가득한 채로 I turned my back to the angels and when I walked away to my surprise 천사들을 등지고 뒤돌아섰어, 그렇게 걸어가다보니 놀랍게도 I found myself in heaven 천국에 와있더군 (Ya know I'm saying (무슨 말인지 알지 Kinda just turned around from the whole situation 그냥 그 상황에서 벗어난거야 Rejecting everything that was going on 일어나는 일들을 다 내팽개쳐버린거지 Thats how I walked into heaven) 그렇게 난 천국에 들어갔어) I Walked away, walked away, walked straight into heaven... 난 도망쳤어, 도망쳐서, 천국으로 들어갔어...
