- Scoring criteria -
Problem 1 and Problem 6 is very obvious.
Problem 2. - Wrong variables, constraints, objective function
Problem 3. - Similar with Problem 2. - WRONG OBJECTIVE means that the optimal value does not indicate the maximum amount of the blend. Almost wrong answers present the 1/7 of the maximum amount of the blend. - NOT LP(or IP) FORMULATION means that the variables are interger variable or the objective function is not linear.
Problem 4. - Wrong lambda, d, x0, and x1 - MUST find the lambda, d, x0, and x1 before performing the pivot. Many students find the x0 and x1 first, and then find the lambda and d vector by subtracting the x0 from x1.
Problem 5. - Please see the page 22 in "ornote-02". - HALF PROOF means that the answer is not bi-directional proof. |
