"Yesterday was so good but today my eyes were a little off. I missed some greens. It's fun to be out here, though. I can win. Why not? I'm just trying to do my best hole by hole. With the match play, you never know. You have to be so strong, mentally. Now I'm having to play 36 holes (a day) on this weekend. It's not easy, especially after having played 36 holes at the U.S. Open Sunday. Physically, I'm okay. Hopefully, I have enough rest tonight.
"I really like to see (Koreans advancing in this event). It's fun to play with them. Having them out here, we are challenging each other. It's not just playing the shots. In between the shots, we can talk to each other."

"I was 2 up to (number) 13 and hit a poor drive and Se Ri made a great up and down. Then, I laid myself up into the rough on 14. We were back and forth. You can't give Se Ri an open door. We battled. It was fun. We're good friends. I'm very happy to be here and I've been playing well so I 'm looking forward to carrying this over into the summer."
Q. Just talk about how you're looking forward to your match with Se Ri (Pak), and have you played with her before?
MICHELLE WIE: No, I haven't. I really respect her. When she came out, first on Tour, when she won those majors she was really someone that I looked up to. I'm really looking forward to playing with her tomorrow.
